Photographs and commentary by Dick Snoke
We spent a few days in mid-November at Blackl Rock Mountain State Park near Clayton, GA, Rain and fog on the first day, but I got a good image of the ducks on Black Rock Lake. I got an image at the visitor’s center just to show the fog, and I repeated that at the cabin after dinner and the next morning. The fog meant no view from any of the overlooks at sunrise, and the rain/fog meant really slick trails. We hiked the Tennessee Rock trail and down to Hi-Ada Falls. I captured a few images along the way. Sunrise the last morning was clear, but the light on the mountain as the sun popped over the hill was very nice.
